Ka'anapali Travel Guide
Welcome to Ka'anapali!
What were once fields of sugarcane have been developed into the popular tourist destination of Ka'anapali, a planned resort town on the tip of Maui with views of the islands of Lanai and Molokai. The town hosts hotels and condominium resorts bordering the private beach and the popular waterfront shopping area of Whaler's Village. The beachfront walkway that runs adjacent to the ocean across the entire town provides access to the many restaurants and stores and a 36-hole golf course. A variety of activities such as swimming, surfing, parasailing and whale watching can be enjoyed in Ka'anapali. Interested visitors can even take a ride on the Sugar Cane Train, an open-air coach train offering trips through the island's railroading past. Meanwhile the Old Lahaina Luau offers hula dancing, music, a feast and other glimpses into the traditional culture of Hawaii.
